Registered Massage Therapist

Treatment always begins with a short assessment so that I can better understand what activities and movements are important to you and what restrictions or discomfort you may have.   

Except for relaxation massages, I use very little to no oil or lotion in my treatments. The techniques I use the most are Neuromuscular, Myofascial Release, and Joint Mobilizations. I tend to use heavier pressure, though it is never my intention to cause pain or discomfort. Instead, I am aiming for “deep and comfortable”. Pace of treatment is usually very slow with occasional small movements being performed by the client.   

Prior to massage, I was fortunate to have experience with meditation, high performance sports and ergonomics, all of which inform how I practice today.   

When I’m not massaging, I can be found making condiments from scratch, playing beach volleyball, and road tripping. I am thrilled to be working in the Hastings Sunrise neighbourhood and look forward to meeting you soon!
